Dear
guest : The
1st International IQNet Customer Event (IICE)
had been designed at a time when stock markets
were high and global business was booming, when
corporate concerns centered around sustaining
today’s success into the future.
The situation has changed
drastically since then. The on-going
global financial crisis
and its effects on a wide range of corporate sectors
have caused heavy losses in the stock markets, amid
waves of panic selling and a meltdown in share
prices around the world. Nobody remains unaffected.
Throughout this crisis, we have been at our
customers’ side. We have spoken to many of them and
we would like to take this opportunity to thank them
for their trust, and the valuable feedback provided.
It is this feedback and their concerns that have led
to our decision to postpone this event to a more
suitable time – the second Quarter of 2009 – and
also to make significant changes in the topics and
speakers. The main
change will be the renaming from“1st
International IQNet Customer Event”
to the “1st International
IQNet Crisis management Event” IICE
The re-scheduled conference will focus on these
topics instead:
●
What are the reasons for this crisis, what are the
signs that were missed?
●
What can Top Management do to protect their
organization from breakdowns in the global economy?
●
What is more opportune in times like this: focus
on Risk Management, or on Opportunity Management?
Who should focus on what?
●
Business Continuity Management – what is its
significance?
●
Liquidity Management – should this be the focus in
a time of crisis?
Naturally, Key Speakers will be coming from the
banking sector and related fields, in order to
provide for maximum proximity to the topics.
The Conference Management would appreciate your
feedback to this change in plans, as well as topics
and speakers for the re-scheduled event. Please
